Model Police Station

	Model Police Station City Lodhran is situated at Railway Road Lodhran at a distance of about 1 Km from District Headquarter Lodhran. Earlier, this police station was located at an old building and on June 20, 2009 it was shifted to a newly constructed building. The boundary of this MPS is surrounded by the jurisdictions of Sadder Lodhran, Gelywal and PS Qureshi Wala.

	The atmosphere of MPS is quite amiable and the infrastructure is given a people-friendly feel.
Quick Action on Complaints
	On receipt of complaints in MPS, at Rescue 15 Help Line, through complaint box and MCC, responsive action is taken as per law to redress the genuine grievance of the victims.

Mobile Tracking System
	District Police has also taken initiative for mobile phone tracking, which is referred as the attainment of the current position of a mobile phone; stationary or moving. Localization may occur either via multilateration of radio signals between (several) radio towers of the network and the phone, or simply via GPS. To locate the phone using multilateration of radio signals, it must emit at least the roaming signal to contact the next nearby antenna tower, but the process does not require an active call.GSM is based on the signal strength to nearby antenna masts. Mobile positioning, which includes location-based services that disclose the actual coordinates of a mobile phone bearer, is a technology used by telecommunication companies to approximate the location of a mobile phone, and thereby also its user (bearer). The more properly applied term locating refers to the purpose rather than a positioning process. Such service is offered as an option of the class of location-based services (LBS).
Forensic Science Laboratory
	Police Department of District Lodhran has also taken initiative to establish Forensic Science Laboratory. Forensic science is the scientific method of gathering and examining information about the past. This is especially important in law enforcement where forensics is done in relation to criminal or civil law.
